MUMBAI, India, April 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311071118 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Oct. 18, 2023, for 'automatic dice manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Indrpreet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on April 25, under issue no. 17/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automatic dice manufacturing device is comprising a housing 1 mapped with a touch enable screen 2 enabling a user to give input commands regarding number of dices to be manufactured, a chamber 3 is attached within the housing 1 stored with multiple cuboidal blocks, a motorized iris lid configured with the chamber 3 to dispense user-defined number of blocks on a conveyer 4, plurality of circular discs configured with specific number of hollow pins and attached via plurality of telescopically operated rods to extend towards a chamber 3 stored with ink to put ink on the pins and then carve numbers on the blocks via the pins an simultaneously, a robotic arm 5 changes the sides of the blocks in order to carve the number on each sides of the blocks."
