MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020732 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated workpiece painting device.'
Inventor(s) include Satish Kumar; Gurveer Singh; Rudra Garg; and Vaneet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated workpiece painting device comprises of a housing 1 installed with a touch interactive display panel 3 to provide input regrading requirement of painting of the workpiece, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 to determine dimension of the workpiece multiple telescopic clamps 5 to grip the workpiece in a secured manner, a dust sensor to determine presence of dust over the workpiece, an electronic sprayer 6 to spray the solution over the workpiece, a motorized sliding to provide translation to an inverted J-shaped telescopic rod 8 configured with the sliding unit 7 in order to position the rod 8 over the workpiece, a motorized brush in contact with the workpiece for cleaning the detected dirt, multiple rotatable nozzles 9 for rinsing the workpiece, and an air blower 11 mounted with the housing 1 to dry the workpiece."
