MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007328 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated workpiece feeding device.'

Inventor(s) include Geetha Rani K.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated workpiece feeding device comprises of an inverted U-shaped frame 1 developed to be installed on a ground surface, a suction cup 2 for affixing with surface in order to mount frame 1 on surface, an imaging unit 3 for capturing images of a workpiece placed by a user on frame 1, a motorized roller 4 for rotating on its axis in order to push workpiece towards user thereby enabling user to perform a required task, a weight sensor for detecting placement of workpiece on roller 4, an electromagnetic strip 5 for magnetizing to affix on roller 4 thereby preventing slipping of workpiece, a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of workpiece during task, an electronic nozzle 6 coupled with a water reservoir 7 for dispensing water on workpiece in order to prevent damaging of workpiece."
