MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020397 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'automated woolen clothes packaging device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Satish Choudhury.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated woolen clothes packaging device, comprises of a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface, legs are arranged for supporting the platform 101 on the surface, a plate 103 attached with the rod 102 for positioning clothes that are to be packaged over the plate 103, an imaging unit 104 for capturing multiple images of surrounding of the platform 101, a drawer arrangement to get expanded for properly accommodating the clothes on the plate 103, a rectangular member 105 attached with apex of the rod 102 for pressing the accommodated clothes, plunger 106 to get extended/retracted in a repetitive manner to provide thumping movement on the clothes for compressing the woolen clothes, a chamber 107 store with multiple packaging bags, grippers 108 to grip and compressed clothes and insert the clothes inside the packaging bag."
