MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013336 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'automated wire brush maintenance device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated wire brush maintenance device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 affixed on a fixed surface and a user places a wire brush within body 1 via an inlet 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 13 determines dimension of handle of brush, two jaws 3 grasps handle, a touch interactive display panel 4 accessed by user to input details regarding type of operation, a telescopic bar 5 extend and positions a rectangular frame 6 over filaments of brush, plurality of iris holes 7 fabricated on frame 6 get opened, a robotic gripper 8 grips and inserts filaments within iris holes 7, a heating unit heats each filaments and simultaneously bar 5 retracts to straighten filaments, a dust sensor detects presence of dust, an air blower 10 blows air onto filaments to remove detected dust from filaments, a container 11 for storing a cleaning solution which is dispensed on brush."
