MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025433 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated windings removing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated windings removing device, comprising a platform 1 positioned over a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 installed over the platform 1 that is accessed by the user to provide input details, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 installed over the platform 1 to determine dimensions of the stator, a motorized cutter 4 configured with the platform 1 to cut the winding from one side of the stator, plurality of cylindrical members 5 arranged on the platform 1, wherein a pair of motorized grippers 6 installed over the platform 1 to grip and position the stator within one of the member 5, a ring 7 installed over the platform 1 configured with plurality of curved links 8 for pulling the windings out of the stator."
