MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441033009 A) filed by K. Ramakrishnan College Of Technology, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on April 26, 2024, for 'automated wildlife boundary keeper.'

It incorporates a nylon rope system, roller(4) and clamp(3) units driven by a DC motor for linear motion, an outer housing(5) for component protection, and a camera(6) unit for motion detection using image processing. The system includes a Node MCU(9) controller unit, tranquilizer gun(7), solar panel(1) and battery pack(10) for power, water tank(2) for panel cleaning, GSM(8) unit for communication with authorities, and servo motor for gun aim control. The system triggers alerts to the forest department upon animal detection and tranquilization."
