MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024648 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'automated weight balancing system for loading vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Virender Kumar Mehla; and Ram Bahadur.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated weight balancing system for loading vehicles, comprising two frames 1 installed on each side of a carrier of a loading vehicle and linked with its electronic control unit (ecu) of vehicle to determine ignition status of vehicle, a weight sensor determines weight of load accommodated in carrier, a speaker 2 notifies driver of vehicle to remove exceeded load from carrier, for maintaining pre-defined limit of load, an angle sensor determines inclination angle of carrier while driver takes a sharp turn, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines distance of surface from frame 1, a hydraulically operated L-shaped rod 4 positions a wheel 5 on surface, a speed sensor determines velocity of vehicle's tires, and a DC motor rotates determined wheel 5 for providing a support to carrier on turning point for balancing load on carrier for preventing chances of accidents of vehicle."
