MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020057 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh India, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated water vehicle transportation management system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated water vehicle transportation management system, comprising a body 1 configured with an artificial intelligence based camera 2 that capture multiple images of surroundings for detecting a water vehicle, a pair of telescopically operated clamps 4 to clasp vehicle in a secured manner, followed by retraction of clamps 4 for positioning vehicle in side of body 1, a platform 5 to contract/expand for tilting platform 5 towards vehicle, multiple motorized rollers 7 to rotate on axis as means of positioning vehicle over platform 5, a flap 8 as means of securing vehicle while movement of body 1, an inflatable layer 10 to inflate layer as means of eliminating chances of any scratch over vehicle, and a communication module to allow user to provide command regarding unloading of vehicle."
