MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521132264 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'automated warehouse inventory management system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated warehouse inventory management system comprising a housing 101 with a plurality of extendable legs 102 mounted at the bottom corners, each leg 102 is equipped with a motorized omnidirectional wheel 103 for navigation and variable height adjustment, an examining module 110 integrated within an examining box mounted on the platform for quantifying accessory, a picking unit installed on the housing 101 with an extendable L-shaped rod 105 equipped with a lift and release arrangement 106 coupled via a motorized ball and socket joint 107, a guiding unit mounted on the housing 101 with a pneumatic clamping assembly 108 mounted on an articulated link 109, a scanning unit installed on the housing 101 to detect expiration data and trigger the segregation of non-compliant goods and a data management module comprising an inbuilt microcontroller synchronized with a database and a blockchain-enabled ledger to generate tamper-proof transaction logs."
