MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024830 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'automated wall hung commode installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Abinash Mahapatro.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated wall hung commode installation device comprising a body 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, an imaging unit 102 to generate a 3 dimensional map, a touch interactive display panel 103 for displaying for selecting a number of points on a wall present in surrounding over which a commode is to be installed, plurality of motorized castor wheels 104 to move the body 101 towards commode, a dual axis slider 105 to position a motorized clamping units 110 to position commode in proximity to wall, a motorized first gripper 106 integrated with a drilling unit 108 for drilling a hole at user-selected points, a motorized second gripper 107 to access and fix a bolt, in drilled holes, a pair of hydraulic actuators 111 aid clamping units 110 in uplifting and engaging commode on mounts in view of installing commode on wall in a secured manner."
