MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011202 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'automated vehicle wheels cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyaranjan Biswal.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated vehicle wheels cleaning device, comprises of a pair of cuboidal bodies 101 developed to install on wheel mudguard of vehicle, multiple suction unit 102 for affixing bodies 101 on vehicle, a hydraulically operated rod 103 to extend for positioning a trapezoidal member 104 over wheels, a laser acuity sensor for detecting dimensions of wheels, a motorized drawer arrangement 106 integrated within a curved-shaped plate 105 to extend towards each other, multiple electromagnets 107 configured on free-ends of plate 105 for connecting the plates 105 together, multiple cameras 108 for detecting stains on the wheel, an electronic nozzle 109 for continuously dispensing the cleaning solution on the wheel, a motorized disc 111 installed with the plates 105 via a L-shaped telescopically operated link 112 and equipped with multi-le bristles for scrubbing the entire wheel, and an electronic valve 113 for dispensing water on the wheel."
