MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019765 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated vehicle uplifting device.'

Inventor(s) include Anil Kumar; Vinit Vishnoi; Aniket Kumar; and R. P. Agarwal.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated vehicle uplifting device comprising a platform 1 developed to positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 that is accessed by a user for providing input regarding model number of a vehicle that is to be uplifted, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the platform 1 and integrated with a processor to determine location of the vehicle in proximity to the platform 1, a telescopically operated rod 5 arranged horizontally over the platform 1 by means of a hydraulically operated scissor arrangement 6 to extend/retract for positioning a metallic block integrated on ends of the rod 5 on lateral ends of the chassis, a hydraulic unit integrated with the arrangement for providing power to the hydraulically operated scissor arrangement 6."
