MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024823 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'automated vehicle tire changing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pragyan Senapati.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated vehicle tire changing device comprises of a vertical platform 101 supported by two inverted U-shaped extendable rods 102 having motorized wheels 103 for maneuverability of the platform 101, a display panel 104 mounted on the platform 101 for user input of changing damaged tire of the vehicle, an imaging unit 105 to determine position of lug nuts of the tire, a motorized wrench unit 106 installed on the platform 101 via an extendable L-shaped rod 107 for unfastening lug nuts of tire, a robotic clipper 108 installed on the platform 101 to remove valve of the tire for deflating the tire, a hydraulically operated L-shaped bar 109 mounted on the platform 101 for uplifting the vehicle, a pair of robotic arms 110 installed on the platform 101 for removing the tire from wheel 103 hub of the vehicle."
