MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012510 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'automated tuber crops sowing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tuber crops sowing device comprising a frame 1 having a wearable unit and arranged with a chamber 2 stored with multiple tubers which are to be sowed, a microphone 3 receives commands of the user regarding sowing of tubers, an pusher extends for applying a pushing on tubers, an iris lid 5 opens for allowing dispensing of the tuber out of chamber 2, a bar 6 is arranged in continuation with lid 5 and, a pair of flaps 7 arranged in continuation with bar 6, each by means of a motorized hinge 8 to form a conical structure, an valve 9 is integrated in between bar 6 and flaps 7 to get opened in a regulated manner for allowing a single tuber from bar 6 to pass towards structure, a tactile sensor monitors hardness of surface, a speaker 10 notifies user to deviate positioning of structure on surface."
