MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006624 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'automated tray manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur; Dr. Arvinder Kaur; and Dr. Sachin Mohal.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tray manufacturing device, comprising a platform 1 configured with multiple legs 2 supporting the platform 1 over ground surface, a chamber 3 position on the platform 1 for housing a motorized roller 4 wrapped with metal sheet, a display panel 5 mounted on the platform 1 enabling user's input commands, a laser cutter 6 mounted on the platform 1 cutting and trimming the sheet, a pair of motorized clippers 7 arranged on the platform 1 positioning the sheet over a bending arrangement 8 installed on the platform 1 for bending and folding the sheet, an imaging unit 9 mounted on the platform 1 detecting alignment of trimmed sheet and a robotic link 10 configured with a soldering unit 11 mounted on the platform 1 for soldering the junctions of sheet to manufacture trays."
