MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020120 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated transferring flow modulating device for fluid.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated transferring flow modulating device for fluid, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned by a user on a fixed surface via multiple suction cups 2, two openings 3 crafted on body 1 for enabling user to engage a conduit with each of openings 3 as detected by an ultrasonic sensor, an electronic nozzle 4 dispenses a lubricating solution on conduits to allow easy insertion of conduits, a laser sensor detects engagement of conduits, a iris aperture 6 grips conduits, an inverted U-shaped hollow member 7 connected between openings 3 and arranged inside body 1 for allowing supply of fluid from one opening 3 to another via member 7, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 mounted determines supply of fluid into member 7, a telescopically operated T-shaped rotatable shaft 9 pushes fluid through member 7 with an increased speed."
