MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025615 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated tmt bars moulding device.'
Inventor(s) include Avinav Pathak; Shoyab Hussain; Dhruv Joshi; and Priti Garg.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated TMT bars moulding device, comprising a platform 1 installed with a conveyor 11 placed with TMT bars, a touch enabled screen 2 to give input commands for forming rings from TMT bars, plurality of circular members 4 sequentially arranged on platform 1 and each attached with a cylindrical unit 5, further conveyor 11 translates TMT bars between members 4 and plurality of circular discs 6 to members 4 such that TMT bars are accommodated over units, a hydraulic shaft 7 installed with members 4 to extend and engage in a slot 8 carved on each of discs 6 for locking TMT bars between shaft 7 and units, a motorized hinge configured between members 4 and units for tilting units with respect to members 4 in a successive manner which in turn results in moulding of bars in rings."
