MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012947 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'automated tissue dispensing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tissue dispensing device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a fixed surface, a display panel 2 mapped on the body 1 for enabling user input commands, a lid 3 attached with the body 1 for opening the body 1, pair of U-shaped telescopic members 4 arranged inside the body 1 extending out of the body 1 for receiving tissues, a microphone 5 mapped on the body 1 for enabling users voice commands, a pneumatic pin 6 arranged on each of the members 4 to accommodate user specified number of tissue, an imaging unit 7 mounted on the body 1 determines successful withdrawal of tissues by the user, a chamber 8 mapped inside the body 1 dispensing a sanitizing solution to disinfect the box and an air blower 9 mapped on the body 1 for drying the user's hands."
