MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019288 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'automated tire changing device for four-wheeler vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Akash Kumar Verma.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an automated tire changing device for four-wheeler vehicles, comprising a cuboidal body 1 installed with a touch screen 2 for enabling user's input commands, a camera 3 mounted on body 1 for detecting tire location, a laser projection unit 4 mounted on the body 1 for guiding a user to position the body 1 towards the tire, a disc 5 installed with body 1 via telescopically operated rod 6 and configured with plurality of hollow cylindrical members 7 for positioning the member 7 towards nuts of the vehicle, telescopically operated bar 8 configured between the rod 6 and disc 5 for securing the member 7 on the nuts, a platform 9 configured with body 1 via a telescopically operated pole 10 installed with a plate 11 via plurality of electromagnetic springs 12 for inclining the vehicle."
