MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022865 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'automated tiles leveling device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tiles leveling device, comprising a body 1 to be positioned on a ground surface, an based imaging unit 2to determine alignment of tiles on surface, plurality of motorized wheels 3 to move body 1 over a set of misaligned tiles, plurality of inverted T-shaped links 4 via a motorized two-axis lead screw 5 to extend in a linear manner to get inserted in gapping between adjacent tiles, a motor linked with links 4 to provide angular movement to the links 4 in a manner that horizontal portion of links 4 are interlocked underneath adjacent tiles, a pneumatic plunger 6 to apply a force on inserted link for aligning tiles over the horizontal portion and an electronically controlled nozzle 7 for dispensing a sealant stored in the chamber 8 in the gapping in order to level the tiles on the surface."
