MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018001 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'automated tile laying device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tile laying device, a cuboidal housing 101 placed on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 102 for capturing multiple images of surroundings of the housing 101 and evaluating 3-Dimensional mapping of the surroundings, a touch interactive display panel 103 to display the evaluated 3-Dimensional mapping, a robotic link 104 place a rectangular frame 105 on the selected area, a robotic gripper 106 pull out the tiles from the a chamber 107 and position in each sections of a grid, multiple pneumatic pins grasp the tiles, a pair of telescopic pushers get extend and hold the tiles."
