MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019814 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'automated tile layering device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tile layering device, comprising a platform 101 positioned over a surface layered with bricks, multiple motorized wheels 102 provide translation to platform 101 over surface, an imaging unit 103 evaluate a 3-Dimensional mapping of surface that is displayed over a touch interactive display panel 104 to enable user to select an area over surface over which tiles are to be layered, an inverted L-shaped hydraulic rod 105 extend and retract in a reciprocating manner to cut bricks via a cutting blade 106 configured with rod 105, a chamber 107 arranged over via multiple links and stored with tiles, an motorized conveyor 108 receive tiles via an opening crafted over base portion of chamber 107 to provide translation to tiles towards user-selected area, a pair of robotic grippers 109 grip tiles in a sequential manner and layer over user-selected area."
