MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013548 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'automated tide generation device for water bodies.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tide generation device for water bodies, comprises of a conical hollow body 1 positioned on water surface of a waterbody via an elongated frame 2, a computing unit accessed by a user to provide input commands regarding generation of tides, a cuboidal member 4 configured around the frame 2 and installed with the body 1 via a set of hydraulic rods 8, plurality of motorized ball and socket joints 5 configured between rods 8 and body 1 to tilt the rods 8 and the rods 8 to provide a reciprocatory motion to the member 4 in view of generating the tides, a camera 6 for detecting height of the tides and a microcontroller to regulate extension/retraction of rods 8 for allowing generation of tides properly."
