MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023097 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'automated surface levelling device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated surface levelling device, comprising a housing 1 arranged on a ground surface in proximity to a curved surface poured with concrete mixture, a touch interactive display panel 2 enables a user to give input commands for levelling the surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 detects shape and width of the surface, a L-shaped telescopically operated rod 9 via a curved-shaped body 4 provides motion to the body 4 in contact with the surface for levelling the poured concrete mixture, a motorized slider 7 positions said body 4 in contact with said surface, an IR (Infrared) sensor detects level of said surface, and plurality of motorized hinges 8 positions each of said plates 5 in contact with said surface."
