MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411007037 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated stuck four-wheeler extraction device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Manjit Singh; Gurkirat Singh; Dr. Amresh Kumar; Shivansh; and Shrestha Pratap Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated stuck four-wheeler extraction device, comprises of a platform 1 mounted by a user with front portion of a stuck four-wheeler by means of a pair of clamps 2 configured with the platform 1, a U-shaped bar 3 configured with the platform 1 and configured with an omnidirectional wheel 4 to provide movement to the platform 1 as per requirement, a touch interactive display panel 5 to give input command regarding extraction of the four wheeler, an imaging unit 6 to determine stuck wheels of the four wheeler, a hydraulic unit to extend in view of applying force over ground surface in order to lift the four wheeler up to evaluated height, a laser sensor to measure distance between the ground surface and platform 1, a telescopic rod to extend towards the ground surface in order to position the motorized omnidirectional wheel 4 over the ground surface."
