MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010109 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated stone pulverizing device.'
Inventor(s) include Ashendra Kumar Saxena; and Kul Bhushan Anand.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated stone pulverizing device includes a housing 1 positioned over ground, a screen 4 for enabling user to give input commands for initiating pulverization of stones accordingly conveyer 2 translates and drops stones in a conical-shaped unit 5, a iris lid 6 configured with unit 5 open for dispensing stones in proximity to a first plate 7, a second plate 8 configured with a scotch-yoke arrangement 11 crushes the stones monitored via a camera 12, a platform 13 arranged underneath plates 7, 8 and segregated into multiple sections 14 having multiple pores 15 of different dimensions each connected with a chamber 16, for segregation of residual particles based on particle size, a weight sensor embedded within each chambers 16 for detecting weight of particles and accordingly sends an alert on user's computing unit for collecting particles from chambers 16."
