MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013549 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'automated stone edging device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated stone edging device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 generating a 3-dimensionsal map of surrounding of surface that is displayed over touch interactive display screen 3 for allowing user to select an area over which brick edging is to be developed for actuating motorized omnidirectional wheels for moving platform 1 in proximity to area, a chamber 5 mounted on platform 1 by means of a motorized sliding unit 6 is actuated by microcontroller for translate chamber 5, followed by actuation of an electronically controlled valve 7 for allowing dispensing of sand for marking area, a pair of motorized clamps 9 accommodating gripped stone in panel 4, a cutting unit 10 cuts stone in required shape, followed by hammering by means of a hammer 11 in order to successfully prepare formation of brick edging over area."
