MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024847 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'automated sticker imparting device for bottles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated sticker imparting device for bottles comprises of a platform 101 developed to be positioned on fixed surface and configured with telescopically operated legs 102 for providing support and elevation, suction cup 103 for adhering platform 101 with surface, display panel 104 for providing input, motorized conveyor belt 105 to place bottles, imaging unit 112 synced with proximity sensor to detect placement of bottle, robotic gripper 106 to grip free end of sticker, capacitive sensor to detect positioning of bottle, supporting rollers 107 where first roller 110 is used to unwrap sticker that is translated in contact with rotating bottle and second roller 111 to rotate in a manner that used sticker gets wrapped over second roller 111, timer module to keep track of time, tactile sensor to detect hardness of bottle, robotic gripper 106 to grab defective bottle and pneumatic unit to aid in extension and retraction."
