MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025620 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated steam-distribution management system for paper mills.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated steam-distribution management system for paper mills, comprising a framework 1 developed to be installed in a premises of a paper mill, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed in the framework 1 to monitor position of multiple rollers 5 coiled with wet paper sheet arranged in premises by a user, a C-shaped member 3 configured in the framework 1 for storing steam generated by multiple steam boilers of the paper mill, plurality of electronically controlled nozzles 4 integrated on inner periphery of the member 3 to dispense pressurized flow of steam on the rollers 5, in view of drying the wet paper from the dispensed steam and a motorized sliding belt 6 integrated with the rollers 5 to provide translation to the rollers 5 for changing position of the rollers 5."
