MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105064 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'automated socket mountings installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Naveen Kumar Yadav.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated socket mountings installation device comprising a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 104 to provide input command regarding installation of socket mounting, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 105 to select a spot for installing mounting, a plurality of motorized omni-directional wheels 102 to maneuver platform 101 on specified spot, a first robotic arm 108 to align a motorized slot cutter 107 to cut a slot in the wall surface, a suction unit 109 to extract all debris generated, a multi-sectioned chamber 111 to store different types of socket mounting, a drilling unit 112 to make different holes according to type of mountings, a pair of robotic grippers 114 to grab specified type of mounting and align with holes of slot and a motorized screw driving unit 115 to fix screws to install mounting in slot cut on wall surface."
