MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019754 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated snack preparation device.'

Inventor(s) include Mohit Rastogi; and Rajesh Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an automated snack preparation device, comprising a circular platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 equipped with suction cup 3 for affixing platform 1 with a fixed surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on platform 1 for capturing and determining presence of a user in proximity to platform 1, a touch sensor installed on chamber 6 for detecting inserting of breads inside chamber 6, an ultrasonic sensor installed inside chamber 6 for detecting successful compression of chambers, a color sensor installed inside each of chamber 6 for detecting proper cooking of a first side of breads, an odor sensor installed within each of chamber 6 for detecting successful cooking of breads, and an audio-visual alerting unit 11 installed on platform 1 for generating audio-visual alerts to user."
