MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007465 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'automated snack preparation device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated snack preparation device comprising a cuboidal frame 1 configured with a handle 2 that is gripped by a user to hold frame 1 at a certain height, the frame 1 is accessed by user to insert a vegetable, upon detecting the successful insertion of vegetable within frame 1 as detected by proximity sensor 3, the microcontroller actuates a pair of C-shaped member 5 to grasp vegetable, a touch interactive display panel 6 enabling user to input details regarding size of snack for actuating a telescopically operated blade 7 for cutting vegetable, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 8 for capturing images of inner surroundings of the frame 1 for actuating a seed remover 10 to remove seeds from vegetable, a telescopic pusher 12 arranged inside chamber 11 for extending to push material towards a hollow tube that further fills into vegetable."
