MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026618 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'automated silicone mould constructing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated silicone mould constructing device, comprising a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface, a display panel 2 installed on the housing 1 for enabling user input commands, a chamber 3 installed within the housing 1 storing silicone polymer sheets, a rotatory arrangement 4 configured within the housing 1 for positioning a particular die that corresponds to the user-specified dimensions in adjacent on the chamber 3, a robotic arm 5 installed within the housing 1 for positioning pieces over the die, a hydraulically operated plunger 6 arranged on the housing 1 to apply force on the polymer sheets, thereby giving the user-desired shape of mould, a camera 7 mounted within the housing 1 for detecting dimensions of silicone mould, a motorized grinding unit 8 installed on the platform for smoothening edges of the mould and a speaker 9 installed on the housing 1 to notify the user."
