MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026619 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'automated satellite signal plate manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Vijay Maheshwari; R. P. Aggarwal; Arun Kumar Giri; and Neha Rani.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated satellite signal plate manufacturing device comprises a housing 1 arranged with a touch interactive display panel 2 for user input, a motorized roller 3 arranged inside the housing 1 for unwrapping a metal sheet, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determine length of the unwrapped sheet, a motorized conveyer belt 5 accommodates the unwrapped sheet, wherein a pair of motorized clippers 6 integrated on the conveyer belt 5 for gripping on the unwrapped sheet, a telescopically operated rod 7 positions a cutter 8 over the sheet, a curved structure 9 arranged inside the housing 1 to grip and position the cut circular sheet over the structure 9, an expandable pulley arrangement 11 to expand/retract the structure 9, an electromagnetic strip adhere the sheet on the structure 9, and a hydraulically operated bar 12 positions a rotatable ball 13 integrated on the bar 12 over the sheet."
