MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022388 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'automated sand dressing device.'

Inventor(s) include Aamir Hussain Wani.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated sand dressing device, comprising of a cuboidal facilitates to accommodates all the components of proposed device, a plurality of motorized wheels 2 for providing movement to the body 1, a telescopic rod 3 for positioning said body 1 at an optimum height from the surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, a touch interactive display panel 5 for displaying the evaluated mapping, a pair of motorized rollers 6 by means of a pair of L-shaped telescopically operated rod 7 to extend for positioning and orienting a cylindrical drum 8, a storage chamber 9 for storing sand, a conduit 10 facilitates flow of the sand from the chamber 9 to the drum 8, a motorized iris pore 11 configured with each of conical unit 12 with for allowing sand to dispense over the surface."
