MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007321 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated rope manufacturing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated rope manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 is accessed by user for providing input regarding length of rope, a motorized roller 3 coiled with bark sheet arranged within housing 1, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 5 to extend towards unwrapped sheet, multiple blades integrated on frame 4 to cut strips of sheet, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 is installed within housing 1 for capturing multiple images of housing 1 to determine positioning of strips, a pair of robotic arms 8 arranged within housing 1 to grip each of strips, a rotatable disc 9 integrated with multiple holes 10 is integrated within housing 1 that is accessed by arms 8 for passing gripped strip through holes 10 and a motorized lead screw 11 is integrated with clippers 12 to grip each of strips."
