MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105070 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'automated rock drill teeth installing device.'

Inventor(s) include Narayan Vyas.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated rock drill teeth installing device, comprising of a platform 101 configured to secure over a ground surface via multiple rods 102, a display panel 103 to give input commands regarding installing of rock drill teeth with a rock drill machine, an imaging unit 104 installed with the platform 101 to capture images in vicinity of the platform 101 in order to detect dimensions of rock drill teeth, a wheel 105 to move the platform 101 in proximity of the rock drill teeth, an arm 106 to grip the rock drill teeth, a suction unit 107 to withdraw the dust present on the teeth, a bar 108 to extend/retract to position a disc 109 in proximity of the gripped drill teeth, multiple mechanical tools to manipulate nut and bolt of the drill teeth and a speaker 113 to generate an audio notification to alert the user regarding detected corrosion."
