MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007506 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'automated road safety regulation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated road safety regulation assistive device, comprises of an elongated body 1 developed to be arranged on a road divider, an imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of body 1, a computing unit accessed by a concerned traffic regulatory authority for monitoring determined prevailing condition, a display panel 3 attached with a motorized hinge joint 4 that deploys panel 3 to display authority-selected symbol on panel 3 for alerting vehicles/pedestrians passing through road for a safe passage, a LDR (light dependent resistor) sensor for monitoring intensity of light in proximity to body 1, multiple LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) 5 for providing visibility to passing vehicles/pedestrians in order to prevent any chances of accident, multiple links 6 arranged in a scissor like arrangement for establishing a barricade on road in order to regulate traffic of road."
