MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019759 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated reservoir manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sirazul Haq; and Dr. Ajay Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated reservoir manufacturing device, comprises of a housing 1 installed with multiple metal sheets, a touch enabled screen 3 accessed by a user to provide input commands regarding shape and dimension in which reservoir is to be manufactured, a set of suction cups 6 arranged with a telescopically operated rod 4 to adhere sheet from the chamber 2 and transfer over a platform via a conveyer 8, a laser cutting unit 9 to cut the sheet into user-defined shape, a telescopically operated gripper 13 to position cut-sheet towards planks, multiple pressing members to press the sheet from centre, multiple hinges 17 configured between plates 12 to tilt the plates 12 and fold sides of the sheets towards the pressing unit 14 and a welding unit 19 to weld edges of reservoir and form user-defined shape and dimension of reservoir which is accessed by the user via an outlet."
