MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411009817 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 13, 2024, for 'automated rescue device for pets.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Dara Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated rescue device for pets, comprising a body 1 assembled with multiple telescopic arms 2 for placing body 1 over an abdomen portion of pet, a laser-measurement sensor for detecting abdomen's dimensions, an imaging unit 3 for capturing images of surroundings, a roller 4 wrapped with a strap 5 for securing pet, a belt 6 to body 1 on pet's neck portion, a hinge-joint attached with a member 7 for lifting jaw above water surface, a pair of flaps 8 for providing movement to pet while swimming, a nozzle 10 configured with a container 9 for dispensing flavoring agent, a noise detection sensor for detecting sound of crackers/loud music, a robotic arm 11 for positioning an earmuff 12 over pet's to eliminate fluttering, an odor sensor for detecting odor of pet's body and a sprinkler 13 connected with a chamber 14 for eliminating foul odor."
