According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Automated Real-Time Audience Response Analysis System for Film Marketing Optimization This invention describes an automated, non-intrusive, and privacy-preserving system and method for analyzing collective audience behavioral and emotional responses during film screenings. The system employs audio and motion sensing technologies to capture real-time or post-screening audience reactions-such as laughter, silence, restlessness, or applause-without identifying individual viewers. These signals are processed through synchronized signal conditioning and machine learning-based analytical algorithms to extract contextual engagement metrics. The system operates in a modular architecture comprising sensory acquisition, data processing, and visualization units, each functionally integrated to generate scene-specific, timestamped insights. These insights enable film producers and marketers to optimize promotional strategies, perform regional audience segmentation, and refine narrative content. The invention ensures full compliance with data privacy standards by anonymizing input at the point of capture, thereby providing a scalable, objective, and evidence-based tool for enhancing decision-making in film marketing and content development."
