MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022357 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'automated raw soap bar processing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated raw soap bar processing device, comprising a housing 1 positioned on ground surface with chamber 2 stored with raw soap bars, a screen 3 for input commands regarding size of soap and words imprinted on the soap, a motorized iris lid 4 to open for transferring raw bars on a conveyer 5, a plurality of dies 8 of different size to the conveyer 5, an imaging unit 7 for detecting presence of raw soap bars on dies 8, a plate 9 from a ceiling portion above each of dies 8 via a telescopically operated rod 10 with different letters 11 via plurality telescopically operated links 12 to extend for punching raw bar through die, thus obtaining final soap bar, a robotic arm 13 for transferring final soap bar to a vessel 15 and a speaker 14 for notifying user to collect final soap bar."
