MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024818 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'automated pre-formed texture removal device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated pre-formed texture removal device comprising a body 101 having a vertical platform 102 and a drum-shaped member 103 with a pair of rods 104 arranged on lateral bottom ends of platform 102 for assembling drum-shaped member 103, multiple wheels 105 arranged underneath platform 102 on ends of rods 104 for providing movement to the body 101 over surface, an imaging unit 106 mounted on the body 101 to generate a 3-dimensional map of surface, a touch interactive display panel 107 installed on platform 102 for displaying generated map, and allow user to select an area from where pre-formed textures are to be removed, multiple rotatable blades 108 arranged with member 103 through a vertical hydraulic link 109 to extend for deploying blades 108, a color sensor embedded in member 103 for determining position of textured surface for removing layers of material to obtain a clear texture."
