MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105077 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'automated power window control switch installation device for vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Katib Showkat Zargar.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated power window control switch installation device for vehicles comprises of a platform 101 configured with multiple motorized wheels 102 for providing mobility to the platform 101, a display panel 103 to provide commands for installation of a power window control switch, a speaker 114 emits auditory signals regarding errors in the installation operations, an imaging unit 104 to detect an open door of the vehicle, an extendable leg 105 to adjust height of the platform 101, a robotic arm 106 to acquire a grip of necessary tools from a multi-sectioned chamber 107 to disengage door panel from door frame, a robotic gripper 109 for acquiring a grip of a new power window switch 110 from a tray 111 to align the new window switch in the mounting cavity, a multi-meter 112 via a pair of robotic links to check current and voltage of the switch."
