MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025499 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated poultry farm surface cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Chamkaur Singh; Rajinder Kumar; Rahul Khurana; and Vishal Barwal.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated poultry farm surface cleaning device, comprises of a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a pair of motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 arranged underneath the body 1 for providing movement, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 mounted on the body 1 for capturing and processing images, a touch interactive display panel 4 mapped on the body 1 for displaying the evaluated mapping, a LiDAR (Light Detection Ranging) sensor 5 installed on the body 1 for detecting feathers, plurality of electronic nozzles 6 installed on the body 1 via a robotic arm 7, an electric lighter paired 8 with the nozzles to lighten the nozzles, a motorized two axis lead screw 9 configured on the body 1 to translate an extendable horizontal blade 11, a motorized slider crank 10 configured between the arrangement and blade 11 for providing linear reciprocatory movement to the blade 11."
