Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION AUTOMATED POULTRY FARM MONITORING USING CESA The poultry industry is critical in the production of global food, but its ability to maintain optimal conditions for animal health and operational efficiency has always been a challenge. The traditional monitoring systems fail to provide real-time insights into the situation, resulting in I 0 delayed responses and associated risks. To overcome this, this invention introduces an A loTbased Automated Poultry Farm Monitoring System using cognitive enabled smart AloT which integrates Artificial Intelligence with the Internet of Things to revolutionize poultry farming practices. The system monitors critical environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, a1r 15 quality, and waste levels in real time. Advanced sensors are spread throughout the farm to collect data, including ammonia concentration for waste management. This data is processed and analyzed using Al-powered algorithms to detect deviations from optimal conditions, triggering alerts for timely corrective nctions. The system is equipped with a mobile application that allows farm operators to monitor real-time data and receive alerts remotely. Control functionalities are also offered by the app, so operators can change farm conditions directly from their mobile devices, ensuring efficient farm Q) - management from anywhere. The system's innovation lies in the Al-based disease detection module, which utilizesResNet-50, a deep learning convolutional neural network, to analyze high-resolution images of poultry in real time. The system detects signs of diseases early, such as paralysis in chickens persisting for more than five minutes, and provides actionable recommendations that enhance health management. This ensures prompt identification and isolation of diseased poultry, thereby safeguarding the overall flock health. These processes, in turn, are automated by the system so that animal welfare is maximized, productivity increased, and operational costs minimized, thus contributing to smarter and more sustainable poultry farming practices. The AloT- based Automated Poultry Farm Monitoring System is in direct support of some of the industry needs, marking the start for a new generation in smart farming. It makes the operations very efficient. enhances the health conditions of animals, and makes it feasible to maintain the most feasible and sustainable farming practice around.
