MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088493 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 23, 2023, for 'automated potted plants relocating device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Priti Singh Verma.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated potted plants relocating device, comprising a housing 1 mapped with a touch interactive display panel 2 for feeding a number of potted plants to be relocated along with location, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on housing 1 for determine location of potted plants, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 4 arranged underneath the housing 1 for moving housing 1 in proximity to plants, an inverted L-shaped telescopically operated rod 5 arranged on housing 1 for positioning a horizontal bar 6 integrated on rod 5 in proximity to plants, plurality of extendable links 7 arranged on rod 5 which extends/retracts in a manner that each of potted plants positioned in between a couple of links 7, and a motorized slider integrated in between rod 5 and links 7 for adjusting links 7 to hold the potted plants in between a couple of links 7."
