MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020702 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated portrait holding device.'
Inventor(s) include Sahdev Singh; Vikas; Esheta Tyagi; and Deepa Rana.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an automated portrait holding device, comprising a grid shaped frame 1 attached with multiple suction cups 2 installed on a fixed surface via the suction cups 2, multiple motorized clips 3 arranged on the frame 1 for gripping portrait placed by a user, a touch sensor installed on each of the clips 3 for detecting placement of portrait on the clips 3, an imaging unit 4 mapped on the frame 1 capturing images of the portrait to create virtual replication of portrait, a display panel 5 mapped on the frame 1 for enabling user's input details and displaying portrait arrangement, a motorized sliding arrangement 6 configured on the frame 1 for moving the clips 3, a LDR 7 mapped on frame 1 for detecting light intensity in vicinity to the frame 1 and multiple LED light 8 mapped on the frame 1 for illuminating lights."
