MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020164 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated polyvinyl chloride fills manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Amresh Kumar; Satwinder Singh; and Dr. Dinesh Arora.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated polyvinyl chloride fills manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 developed to insert a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheet, a display panel 2 installed over the housing 1 for enabling user input commands, an imaging unit 3 installed over the housing 1 to determines presence of sheet, a primary motorized roller 4 installed within the housing 1 to move the sheet towards a secondary motorized roller 5 installed within the housing 1, a motorized Archimedes' screw 6 installed within the housing 1 to engrave a design over the sheet, a motorized conveyor 7 positioned within the housing 1 to position the sheet beneath a pneumatic cutter 8 arranged within the housing 1 for cutting the section of the sheet and a pair of robotic grippers 9 installed in the housing 1 to grip the cut section."
